Today, the Mental Health Foundation launches the Mental Health Action Week.
This year, the focus is on anxiety and fear and the impact that these can have on our daily lives and the week is to kick of the year of campaigning and awareness-raising on these issues.
There is a website and podcast that is available on the site as well as an ‘action pack’ available to send off for. The project can be supported through (unsurprisingly) donations but also by sharing, anonymously if required, personal stories and experiences and reading those of others as an attempt (I think) to destigmatise some of these feelings.
